A person adds food to a dish intentionally cooked by a Jew 1/2 hour before the end of Shabbat. Does this make the food permissible? What about the pot?

Ruben and Shimon live together in one house and Ruben cooked intentionally one half hour before the end of shabbat food in a large pot and Shimon came immediately after Shabbat and added much more food into the pot in order to eliminate the prohibition against him eating the food cooked on shabbat by Ruben. And now he wishes to know if he is permitted to eat the food and the status of the pot.
