Hirsch Summary

Someone stipulated on his deathbed that A should receive 100 florins, B 100, and C 500; finally, he said: "I increase the gifts; one should give A 100, B 200, and C 1000 florins." Now, the heirs admitted that while A should indeed receive a total of 200 florins, they wanted to give only a total of 200 to B and 1000 to C. Salomo Jessurun awards B a total of 300 and C a total of 1500 florins.
