Hirsch Summary
A Jew received a bundle of clothes from a Muslim as partial payment of a debt. Among these was a small garment made of gold and silver [brocade], apparently used by the Muslim for his children's clothing during circumcision. Can the Jew have a blanket made from this material for the same purpose? Immanuel Oheb Abendana affirms the question, stating firstly that Islam is not considered idolatry, and secondly, priestly garments, etc., even if from idolaters, are not considered as adornment of idols but rather of the wearers.
