Hirsch Summary
Two merchants entered into a joint venture and mutually agreed that neither of them should engage alone in the same line of business. When they parted ways due to a dispute, one immediately entered into the same line of business with a non-Jew. Eliezer Zacuto decides that considering the indefinite duration of the contract, the mentioned obligation only applied for the duration of the partnership.
