Hirsch Summary
A man was in love with another Jewish man's wife and killed her husband with a sword in the field. Two Jewish witnesses had previously warned him from a distance; they testified to the act. The murderer was discovered at a butcher's shop in a village. During transport, he broke free and fled into a synagogue. The authorities demanded the extradition of the murderer and threatened to kill all Jews of that place otherwise. Joseph ben Moses Alvarez decides that the murderer should be extradited. It is also considered that he was already in the hands of the authorities. See query number 40 for comparison.
