Hirsch Summary
What should happen to a man who called a Torah scholar uncircumcised and impure and insulted him and his ancestors obscenely? Jacob ben Eliezer Ferrares decides that the man must apologize to the scholar; this slight punishment applies only to scholars of the present time. For insulting a scholar of earlier times, a more severe punishment would have been appropriate.
