Hirsch Summary
A, a resident of No Ammon (Alexandria), had taken out a credit line with B, sending his goods to Venice on a 6-month term. For this, he had pledged to B his entire property, both movable and immovable. A lost his fortune, and B wanted to expel him from the house he was living in and take it for himself. A refused to vacate the premises. He claimed that the house belonged to his father, who lived in Europe. Although his father had intended to give it to him as a wedding gift, he had refused the gift. Salomo Jeshurun considered that A was living in the house rent-free and concluded that it belonged to him. Therefore, he now ruled that the house should go to B.
