On his deathbed, a brother married his sister, a widow, to A. However, the sister refused to enter into this marriage. Some time later, she went to her grandmother and married B there. However, the marriage was to be consummated only after six months. Whether she was still a minor or already an adult at the time of refusal was disputed. Witness groups were found for both possibilities. David ben Abraham Franco Mendes decides that the marriage to B is valid.
