Hirsch Summary
A bought a bundle of woad (indigo) from a Turk, which was stored in the house of B in Amsterdam. The deal was concluded in London. A commissioned B to receive the bundle and also to buy hides for 100 guilders to be sent to Hamburg. However, the price of woad rose sharply. Therefore, B arranged for the Turk to hand over the woad to him when they both arrived in Amsterdam. B made a profit of 50 guilders. Both B and the Turk returned A's money, while A also demanded the profit. Moses ben David Rodrigues Lopes decides against A.
