Hirsch Summary
According to the V. Book of Moses Chapter 20, Verse 6, those exempt from military service include the owner of an unredeemed young vineyard. Does this exemption apply only in the 4th year of the vineyard or also in the 3 preceding years? Salomon Jessurun leans towards the opinion of Maimonides that the exemption applies for all 4 years.
