Hirsch Summary
Someone in his will generously bequeathed to charities such as Hebron and others, but only the interests were to be distributed, while the capital was to remain intact. One of his heirs, who had become impoverished, applied for assistance. Can he receive anything from the capital or just the interests like others? Does he enjoy any preferential treatment? Moses ben David Rodriguez Lopez rules that the capital must not be touched under any circumstances. Whether the heir may receive the entire interests is left to the discretion of the administrators (Gabboim).
