Hirsch Summary
A hall belonging to A was adjacent on one side to an empty lot owned by B. A wanted to convert the open side of the hall into a closed structure with windows. B objected, arguing that this would increase the damage to him, as the windows would provide visibility into his property, which would lead to greater exposure compared to the openness of the hall-where a person could be seen by those inside and therefore anticipate being seen. Additionally, B pointed out that in the future, if he were to build on his property, he would be required to maintain a certain distance from any windows.Joseph ben Moses Alvares ruled that B's objection was justified.
