Hirsch Summary
Someone left behind a firstborn and another son. He had to pay a large sum for the redemption of the second son from captivity. When it came to the division of the inheritance, the firstborn demanded that the redemption money be credited, and that he also receive double the share, including from the pledges on which the father had lent to non-Jews at interest. Abraham ben David Fidanque decides that the firstborn is in the right regarding the pledges, but only to the extent that they have already lapsed.
