Hirsch Summary
Three merchants had entered into a partnership agreement for a period of three years. It was stipulated that although anyone could withdraw prematurely, no one could engage in a similar business within the three years. When two of them withdrew prematurely, they wanted to operate a business in the same line. They argued that the withdrawal of the second had made the entire contract null and void. Moses ben David Rodrigues Lopes sides with them.
