A had a debtor and a wife. A dies, and his wife dies three days later, of course without having sworn her Kethuba. The sons said she had received nothing and had been sick long before the father's death. Abraham ben David Fidanque, however, decided that the creditor's claim to the father's estate took precedence over that of the sons.
