Hirsch Summary
A messenger came with a receipt (quitantie) to collect a debt and sent the receipt through the son of the household. The master of the house came to the hallway and paid the money to a beggar there. However, this man was a stranger; the messenger had left after a short wait. David ben Raphael Meldola declared that the messenger was liable for the damage.
