Hirsch Summary
A widow had the usufruct of her deceased husband's goods, while the six sons each received only 1000 Gulden temporarily. One son died childless, and the second performed the levirate marriage with the wife of his brother; then the third also died, and his wife, who did not receive her Kethuba, claimed her right to the property under the usufruct of her mother-in-law. The other brothers disputed the claim and also argued that the second son, due to the levirate marriage, should not claim two shares. Moses ben David Rodriguez Lopez, however, decided that the property under the usufruct should be regarded as already established property and that both claims were legitimate.
