Hirsch Summary
A man made a written will in his final days and had his sons swear, without informing them of the contents, that they would faithfully adhere to the provisions. After his death, the will was handed over to them by the authorities, and they were surprised to see that their father had decreed that they should separate after their mother's death, with each going to a different country. This provision would not only have caused them business difficulties but also their wives were unwilling to change their residence. Jacob ben David Fidanque allows the oath to be annulled.
