PEH509
Hirsch Summary
A borrowed 200 denarii from his close friend B, providing various pledges as collateral. The friends later had a falling out and did not speak for two years. When B died, a list of A's pledges was found; A claimed during the settlement that a large silver item was missing from the list. His claim was supported by the fact that the pledges were only worth 120 denarii, despite B not having pressed for repayment despite their falling out. Nevertheless, Abraham Fernandez decided in favor of B's heirs.
