Following a passage in the Shulchan Aruch (???? ??? ? ?"? ?"? ?), it is asked whether a bird of a species that usually does not have a gall, but in exceptional cases has one or two gall bladders, is kosher. David ben Raphael Meldola points out that even among the authorities, this is disputed, and therefore, in both cases, the consumption of the bird is prohibited.
