Hirsch Summary
Someone bought chametz from a Jew and a non-Jew who had a joint business, 2 or 3 days before Passover. He paid for it but did not take possession. After Passover, he demanded his money back. Moses ben David Rodrigues Lopes decides: Since the non-Jew would resort to the public court for his share, for which the purchase would be valid even without possession, both Jews (buyer and seller) must remove the chametz and share the loss.
