Hirsch Summary
Someone had a document drawn up before marrying his second wife, stating that he would give his houses to his sons. He left nothing to pay the Kethuba of his second wife. The sons did not have possession of the deed of gift for the houses. It was deposited with a third party. The third party stated that he could not remember whether it was handed over to him by the father or the sons. The sons claimed that they had handed him the document in the presence of witnesses. Moses ben Samuel Israel rejects the widow's claim. [Apparently, the sons were already in possession of the houses.] Cf. Nr. 651
