A barrel of kosher wine, sealed in a sack, was handed over to a carrier for transport. Upon arrival at the destination, the barrel arrived with damaged seals. It is asked whether the wine is permissible for consumption. Meir ben Abraham Hacohen Alfassi denied this and even prohibited any further use.
