Hirsch Summary
An injured vein was found at the junction point in a chicken. It was unclear whether the injury occurred while the chicken was alive or due to the insertion of a plug (as a kosher sign). Doctor David ben Jacob de Meza ruled that the chicken would be permissible for consumption if the veins were still visible.
