Hirsch Summary
A woman wanted to sell her wedding ring to a goldsmith one or two days after the wedding. The goldsmith discovered that the ring was made of copper. As a result, the woman married another man. Isaac Henriquez Faro considered the first marriage valid; however, since there are other opinions on the matter, he advised that, if possible (i.e., if the first husband was present and not a Cohen), a get (divorce document) should be given. If the woman had not entered into a new marriage, it would be appropriate for her to remarry the first husband. See 162, 357, and 826. (not 825)
