PEH330
Hirsch Summary
Two chickens, one of which had no gall (the liver was neither raw nor roasted and had no bitter taste), were intended to be eaten-one for the evening meal and the other for the midday meal-on the Sabbath. The question arises whether this is permissible because otherwise, a proper Sabbath meal could not be held. Furthermore, the question is raised: What if one of the chickens had already been eaten in the evening? Isaak Sarucco prohibits consumption in both cases. This prohibition applies even if both chickens were cooked separately.
