Hirsch Summary
A and C jointly owned a house worth 4000 fl., but as it was dilapidated, they could not rent it out. A paid for the costs of renovation. B reimbursed him only half after three years. Referring to an oral agreement, A wanted to keep all the rent for the three years for himself, while B claimed half of the rental income for himself, pointing out that A's demand violated the Torah's prohibition on interest. Moses ben Samuel Israel rules in favor of B.
