Hirsch Summary
A, an experienced goldsmith, had advised B during the purchase of a large gold vessel at the fair. B bought the vessel. Later, A needed a large amount of gold to create equipment for a prince's wedding. He also bought gold from B, including the mentioned vessel. When A broke it for melting, he discovered that it was gold only on the outside but copper inside. He demanded that B take back the broken vessel in exchange for a refund of the price paid. Abraham ben Jacob de Salomo de Meza rejected A's claim. (see 807).
