Hirsch Summary
A trustworthy woman inspected two chickens, including their gizzards. After ensuring they were kosher, she cooked the chickens and gizzards together with a large piece of other meat. During cooking, a small needle was found partially protruding from one chicken's gizzard. Considering that the woman had thoroughly inspected the gizzards, Jacob ben Abraham Bassan deemed this case a 'double doubt' (Doppelzweifel).
