Hirsch Summary
Two Jewish doctors, who jointly treated a patient with a broken foot (after it was splinted) and another patient suffering from a sore throat, prescribed rubbing alcohol for the foot and gargling with alcohol for the throat. They debated whether it was permissible to use alcohol made from forbidden wine. Juda Piza ruled that only permissible alcohol was allowed.
