Hirsch Summary
Someone left behind two sons. In his will, he bequeathed two parts to his firstborn and one part to the other son. As the estate mainly consisted of claims against merchants, a dispute arose as to whether the ratio of 2:1 should also apply to the division in this regard. After some words of remembrance for the deceased rector, Isaac Sarucco ruled that the outstanding balances should be divided equally between the sons. See 495. [The eldest son's inheritance right does not cover accounts receivables].
