In the Torah scrolls of the Sephardim דכהis written, while among the Ashkenazim, it's written ×“×›× (V. Book of Moses, 23, 2). This caused offense to an Ashkenazi prayer leader of a Sephardic community. He doubted whether he or another Ashkenazi could recite the blessing over such a Torah scroll. Moses ben Samuel Israel declared his concern unfounded and affirmed both parts of the question.
