Question Summary
The status of food cooked by a Jewish maid on the eve of Sabbath of Passover under questionable conditions.
Question Full
On the eve of the Sabbath during the weekdays of Passover a woman prepared to broil meat for Shabbat and she left the pot with the meat on top of the fire and then she left the house to purchase some more food. And when she returned to the house after some time she saw a properly prepared "pashtida" and in it was the fork that the woman had left in the meat. And she asked her Jewish maid to know what it was and the maid said that she found in the kitchen ground Matsah and sweet fruits and eggs and that she made the Pashtida by herself, but the honey which is named sugar which she did not find at home she purchased in a store in the neighborhood. And the woman investigated the matter and found that the merchant is not Jewish and does not sell sugar Kosher for Passover, just sugar from open containers. And when she asked him he responded that undeniably there are people that that mix sugar and flour, but added that this is done only for the low quality brands, but not for the good brands that he sells. And when the woman returned home a second time and she came to look if the meat had finished broiling, she saw a grain on it, and in her fear she picked up the grain and burnt it in the fire. And now the question is what is the status of the foods and pots.
