Hirsch Summary
A tallit was torn in two pieces; it was then sewn back together. Must the tzitzit be renewed? Salomo Jessurun decides that before sewing them together, the two tzitzit from one piece must be removed; otherwise, all four must be renewed. See 87 (, 285, 617, and 843). #862 & #863 These cases have not been found in any collection available to me.
