Hirsch Summary
In verse 21 of the book of Exodus, chapter 9, in a Torah scroll, the 27-28th last word was written with a Waw instead of correctly with a Heh, a Keri-Ketiv. Is it permissible to simply change the Waw to a Heh, or must the Waw be erased first? Solomon ben Isaac Saruco allows the Heh to be written by extending the Waw.
