Hirsch Summary
A had lent 2000 fl. to B out of friendship. When B couldn't repay them on time, they agreed that B should pay A a certain amount annually for two years. If B died during this time, the debt would be forgiven for him and his heirs, otherwise, B would repay the 2000 fl. after 2 years. A later had doubts about whether this arrangement violated the Torah's prohibition against interest. Solomon Jessurun sees it as a violation.
