Hirsch Summary
Dedication page of Jacob ben Eliezer Ferrares with five stanzas.
Query by Salomon ben Isaac Saruco: A widow deposited 100 gulden with a man, which she retrieved bit by bit in small amounts. In the meantime, she gave the man two nose rings (?) (?????) with precious stones, which belonged to her sister, and received 40 gulden for her sister. Later, she claimed that the man had taken these 40 gulden from the money she had deposited with him. However, the man claimed that he had advanced the 40 gulden and that the rings were collateral for it. Ferrara ruled that the man must swear an oath to confirm his claim.
