Hirsch Summary
A received a lump sum from B after the dissolution of a long-standing partnership. However, B did not provide him with a settlement. When A finally pressed B, who had the books and other documents, for the balance, he also demanded interest. Jacob de Tovar first mourns the Rector, praising him as the author of the books: Dibre Salomo, Schone Halachoth, and Leb Schalem. Then he decides that A has no claim to interest, as the partnership had been dissolved.
