Hirsch Summary
The heirs of a man found among his papers a mortgage deed on A's house, which still had 5 years remaining. When it was due, A had no money. However, he had sold the house to B in compliance with state laws. B refused to make any payment, claiming that he had possessed the house for more than 3 years. David ben Abraham Franco Mendez decides that B is not required to pay. However, A must pay within 30 days. He laments the death of the rector, who died on the 15th of Tebeth 5552. On the night of the 12th of Shevat, the rector's son Daniel was elected as the new rector.
