Hirsch Summary
During a settlement from a partnership, A only gave his partner B a portion of the amount due to him and retained the rest. Later, B demanded a proportionate share of the profit that A had earned with his money in the meantime. Joseph Piza decides that if B's money remained untouched with A, then B has no claim to the profit. However, if the money had been used in A's business, then B's demand is justified. See No. 854.
