Hirsch Summary
Request from Abraham Raphael ben Chajim Albergue: A and B ran a business together. A took goods from C for himself and promised to involve B as a co-guarantor for payment. However, A kept postponing this and eventually fled, leaving behind debts. After many years, A returned, hoping no one would remember him. However, he was recognized by acquaintances of C, fled again, and eventually died in a foreign land. When news of this reached C, he sought to collect the debt from B. B refused to pay, arguing that this was A's private matter. The goods had never entered their business, and this was the first time he had heard of it. Abraham Fernandez dismissed C's claim.
