Hirsch Summary
While visiting B, A married B's daughter by giving her a golden object in front of two witnesses and reciting the marriage formula. When B learned of this, he was seriously concerned. He explained that years ago, he had authorized Kiddushin for his daughter with C in front of two other witnesses. However, C and the two witnesses could not recall the Kiddushin, but only said that there had been a discussion about the possibility of marriage. Samuel ben Salomo a'Cathan decides that the marriage with A is valid; only the guardian should grant C a writ of divorce.
