Hirsch Summary
A bought, through B's mediation, goods from a non-Jew, C, paid for them, but left a portion still stored there. Since he had to travel, he asked B to pick up the rest of the goods and deliver them to his son. B did this. However, when C died, B cheated C's heirs (D) by claiming that more goods for A were still there. D innocently handed over these items, and B also brought them to A's house. When A returned, B wanted him to return the goods. A refused to hand them over because D had meanwhile become impoverished and died without heirs, so A believed he could keep the goods. Abraham Fernandez decides that the goods are to be divided between B and A.
