Title
PEH596
Hirsch Summary
A wealthy woman gave her husband a portion of her wealth as dowry. After some time, she also handed over her remaining wealth to him but made him swear that he would never divorce her or take another wife against her will. Since having children was out of the question due to age and circumstances, the man wanted to return the wealth to her and be released from his oath. However, the woman refused her consent. David ben Raphael Meldola decides that the vow can only be annulled with the woman's consent.
