Hirsch Summary
A took a consignment of goods from B to be transported to a specified location. He paid him the approximate equivalent and assumed exclusive liability for the goods. A and B further agreed that if he delivered the goods in good condition to the destination, he would receive his money back plus an agreed-upon profit from B after four months. A carried out the task. In the meantime, B had died, and the relatives of B, on behalf of the orphans, refused to pay out the profit. They wanted to repay the sum paid by A to B. Jacob ben David Fidanque decides that A also has a claim to the agreed profit.
