Dedication Page by Moses Alvares: Moses Alvares addressed an inquiry from Jacob Chiskijahu ben David Israel Athias regarding a woman who had vowed not to remarry after her husband's death. Upon her husband's passing, she released the vow but concealed that her husband had given her a bag of gold during the oath. Despite this, Moses Alvares ruled that the vow could be annulled.
