Hirsch Summary
Dedication page of Joseph Montel, in which he talks about the importance of printing for Judaism. Inquiry from Moses Izrael: A mistake was discovered in a Torah scroll. Later, it was forgotten where the mistake was located and in which of the Torah scrolls in the Holy Ark it was found. The questions are whether one must search for the mistake, whether all the Torah scrolls need to be checked, and if it is sufficient to have discovered a mistake in one scroll. Joseph Montel affirms the need to search for the mistake and confirms that finding a mistake in one scroll is sufficient.
