<text>If someone has repairs done by a craftsman, they must pay on the same day (see V. Buch Moses, 24, 14). Now the question arises whether, due to such an obligation, one must sell goods below market price or pledge them to non-Jews for interest, and how someone should act if they have to pay two craftsmen but only have money for one. Moses Alvares interprets the Torah's prohibition in such a way that one is only obliged not to withhold payment if they have cash. Thus, the obligation to sell goods at a loss or pledge something is lifted. In the case of having to pay two craftsmen, the money must be divided if they both come simultaneously. Alvares mourns the death of his son Abraham Samuel Alvares, who passed away at the age of 22 on the 1st of Av 5517. In his closing words, he asks God to grant his remaining two sons long lives.</text>
