<text>An Amsterdam man married a woman from Hamburg. After the "seven blessing prayers," both matured in the company of the woman's brothers. The marriage had not been consummated, and after the wedding, no private meeting had occurred between the husband and wife. The woman became ill, and the maturation process had to be interrupted. In the foreign town, the woman passed away after about a month. Due to her estate, there was a dispute between the brothers and the husband; he had taken all the possessions into his house. He claimed that during this time (while they were still in the maturation process), a private meeting had occurred, for which the likelihood spoke in his favor. The proof to the contrary lay with the brothers. Jacob Chiskijahu ben Chacham Israel Athias, referring to the responses of R. Salomo Hakohen, Part 3, Response 27, ruled in favor of the husband regarding the estate.</text>
