<text>An Amsterdam man married a woman from Hamburg. After the seven blessings (Sheva Brachot), they departed together with the woman's brothers. The marriage had not been consummated, and no private time between husband and wife had occurred after the wedding. Unfortunately, the woman fell ill, and the journey had to be interrupted. In the foreign place, the woman died after about a month. Disputes arose between the brothers and the husband regarding her estate. The husband had taken all the property into his house. He claimed that during this time (on the journey), a private moment had occurred, which was likely. The burden of proof lay with the brothers. Jacob Chiskijahu ben Chacham Israel Athias ruled, following the responses of Rabbi Salomo Hakohen (Part 3, Response 27), that the estate should go to the husband.</text>
